How much space does a bounce house need?

· 1 min read

Grab a tape measure: five minutes now saves a lot of guesswork on party morning.

The 5-foot rule

Measure the footprint of the unit you want, then add 5 ft on every side for safe entry, anchoring and the blower. A 15×15 ft castle needs a flat area of roughly 25×25 ft.

Look up, too

Check for tree branches, power lines and roof edges. Our tallest slides need about 20 ft of clear space overhead.

Surfaces that work

  • Grass — our favourite. We use stakes.
  • Concrete, asphalt or driveways — we bring sandbags and tarps.
  • Gravel, sand or steep slopes — talk to us first.

Not sure? Add a note in the planner and we will happily take a look at a photo of your yard.
